Mt.Everest Garment Handcraft Story
Mt Everest Garments
This work began long before it had a name.
My past is stitched into it, the places I lived, the distance I traveled, the people I listened to. Nights in crowded souks, early mornings on misted mountains, hours by the ocean where nothing needed to be said. Those moments taught me that meaning is quiet. It reveals itself slowly.
I learned to pay attention to how people speak about home, about love, about what they carry with them. Over time, it became clear that clothing could hold these things, not as decoration, but as memory.
My wife is the hand that gives these ideas form. Her understanding of fabric is instinctive, precise, earned over years of practice. She works slowly and deliberately. Each cut, each stitch exists for a reason. Nothing is added without restraint.
We work as an atelier, not a factory. Pieces are made individually, shaped by conversation and silence in equal measure. What results is not trend-driven and not seasonal. It is meant to last, to be worn until it feels familiar.
The materials are chosen for how they live on the body — silks that move with quiet confidence, linens that soften and deepen over time. The garments are not designed to be noticed immediately, but to be felt.
